yes does help i think my fuel pump is gone i loosen the bleed on top of the fuel filter and it reved fine thanks for advice

turns out my fuel lift pump isn't working properly i loosened off the air bleed on the fuel filter and the engine started to regain power strange????:)

does your alternator light on your clocks flicker because im thinking that its something electrical because iv ruled out pretty much everything you have?:confused::confused::confused:

did you manage to get it going iv got the same problem ???

put a new filter in didnt make much difference also put a new battery in it checked fuel was coming from the fuel injectors that was fine

2.5 tdi 1992 discovery

hi i recently went off roading and got a conciderable amount of water in my air filter engine started to lose power and stall engine now only idles and after any sort of accelerating drops and loses power then stalls can any one give me any advice would be very grateful thanks woody1052
