Thanks mjltigger, but I now think it may be an input from one of the the throttle position sensors. Looking at the circuit diagram suggests that there are two - both connected to the ECU via the black ECU connector (C0658). The input from throttle position sensor 1 connects to pin 12...

Hi Folks - have one of these for a Discovery II TD5 and although it's a fairly simple plug in fit to the exisitng ECU connectors there are also 2 flyings leads. One is to the battery positive, but the other is green with a yellow stripe and is terminated with a male spade connector (insulated)...
