Snorkel fitted, it can handle a fair amount of water before the electrics get involved!
These aren't Chelsea chariots we're driving, they are actually fantastic at off road! I know from experience.

Started fitting Bearmach rock sliders, nightmare!

Just had a new fuel injector pump fitted after the old one developed a problem with the valve and my p38 2.5 dt lost serious power. Well, after its been fitted the injector light is coming on intermittently and still losing power. The code reader now says its 'engine stop'. Any idea what is...

what size nuts are required to fit onto the diff bolts on my p38? :confused:
I thought it was m10 but they don't want to have it and I don't want to force them.....

mine was blocked when I bought it and it had been bodged. I reckon the springs would have popped off if I happen to cross axle!
it had a 3" lift with no drive train enhancements and I haven't had any problems. been down a few greenlanes with ruts and its done nicely.
265 tyres sit nicely...

also, Bearmach do diff sliders which are very good and I didn't manage to find any other brand which did any particular guard for the diffs on the p38.

i'm running mine on a Bearmach +2" lift kit with Bearmach Tuffback +20mm shocks. also have fitted 265 75 16 Maxxis Bighorn MT764. it drives very nice on the road with a bit of swaying(similar to my defender 90 when it got lifted). haven't yet tried it offroad, can't wait!

thanks for the suggestions guys. what happened was:
yes I did remove the wheel arches to get more room.
then we chiselled the rust off the bolt head so it went down to about 17mm. finally we hammered a 17mm socket on it and undid with a breaker bar. bingo!
I did buy a set of Irwin...

Anyone got any tricks how to remove badly rusted top mounting bolts on a p38's rear shock absorbers? :confused:
The nuts are crumbling and can't get anything up there in the tight space. :(
Any help would be greatly appreciated
