    Just spent the last half hour reading this and I really can't believe that this has all been painted by brush and roller, looks like a fantastic finish. Has to be my all time favourite colour for a defender.

    Budget isn't so much an issue as I plan to do it gradually over time. The main thing I'm worried about getting a defender is the fact of the large uninsulated space at the back so I'm guessing it can be a bit chilly in winter, can't it?

    Hi all been lurking in the shadows for a long time and thought it was finally time to introduce myself. Haven't currently got a Landy but planning to get one in the not so distant future as a project when I finally decide if I want a defender or a disco! Dan
