I run my own small engineering R/D business, I really enjoy the challenges of developing new designs from drawing to prototype parts to first working sample, as well as making up parts and mechanisms for older machines in order to keep them running,I have also developed parts and fixtures for my land rover as well as for 4x4 accessory manufacturers.
Hobbies:
Firstly maintaining ,servicing/pottering around with my defender TD5,.
Our public roads have worsened, in the last twenty years, to such an extent that owning a 4X4 is almost a necessity.
I enjoy driving into uncharted areas and enjoy the solitude,away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Secondly Amateur Radio, licenced as ZS6WC since 1978
Thirdly : inventing and machining projects in my engineering work shop.
