    I recently purchased a 1987 2.4 l turbo deisel range rover right hand drive and the 2nd time I had it out the low coolant light and seat belt light would come on when I pressed on the brake pedal. The brake and indicator lights don't work. Changed signal relay but didn't help. The hazzard...

    serial number

    I just bought a 1987 land rover and the serial # is SALLHAME7EA3 ETC. I have not been able to find reference to say that this is 2.4 liter turbo engine when looking into the serial numbers. Also according to the serial #'s it is an 88 but the ownership says 87. Any comments. Ron
