Sorted! Thanks Diver for the advice. The grub screw was ready to fall out so caught it in time. In the end it was a simple job.(says he!) Access from under the centre seat. Removed the 4 screw that hold the plate in place and removed plate. Next I disconected the cotter pin at the the link...

Just found this after an internet search and it nearly answers my problem. Mine is on a defender 90 Mine can only select Low ratio. I've followed the linkage down to the box and all parts are moving. Can I go any further with the box attached. Or could it be selector fork problems that need the...
