What if you tap the tip into the head with a punch, take injector out, turn engine over by hand until piston at the top and try fish it out with telescopic magnet thing, taking head off is biggish job

Hi all, what is the correct head gasket for 1990 200tdi, looked on eBay and some listings say that the 300tdi will fit, bit confused.
