Does anyone know if a gearbox and transfer box out of a 96 300 tdi disco will fit straight into a 92 200 tdi defender?

I have always had tdi landrovers until 6 months ago I bought a s2 v8 disco with an lpg conversion. I think a discovery needs a v8 as the 200 and 300 tdi's feel under powered for a machine that needs to tow. The td5 is far better than the 200 and 300 in every way but not as good as the v8. The...

Anyone know if theres any paticular way of bleeding brakes on a abs system? We had to replace the abs modulator on a 96 disco and we cant get a firm pedal back.

You could just replace the bearing. Very easy job. Theres a guy on ebay selling bearing kits for £10 I think.Its better than the cost of a new unit.

As far as we can tell it must be a fault with the ecu. When on the test book it comes back as no signal from o2 sensors. We have replaced the o2 sensors twice. Re wired from the ecu to o2 sensors. Then but the origonal wires back because it made no diffrence. The o2 sensors have been tested now...
