Hi all I was having a look around under my disco 300tdi and discovered that there is something missing near the gear box? I'm no mechanic so here's a picture, there's a lot of oil around the area is it gear box oil? Thanks I know it's abit vague

I bought mine 4 weeks ago! Got it home had a proper look around so say had 12 months MOT on it with no advisories (bo@@oks) I made a list of mot failures and what should of been advisories Took it back and made him do all the work!! That was a trade seller though!! Hope you get it sorted...

Thanks for the warning!! all rust was sorted before I purchased the motor and the sunroof was leaking that has been done also!! It's a tidy LR to be honest and I'm looking forward to getting my hands dirty 😁

Hi all Just bought my first LR discovery 300 tdi I bought the 300 over the td5 because I'm lead to believe it a tad easier to work on, as I only know the basic (for now I hope) It's going to be a every day car until the summer that's when the wife gets her on car!! Going to keep the mods...
