    Sunroof motor

It does give a huge buzz when you get to the bottom of the problems and it all works. Been there with mine and having used standard silicone I have found out it is just starting to weep between the frame and roof again, so will go down the Tiger seal route...I am wondering if the seal gets...

    Sunroof motor

Hi UKAirbourn, When I did eventually fix mine I found that the water level in the drain tray could rise above the height of the motor drive hole, that where the water came in to ruin the sunroof motor, I found that the drain tubes as installed were taped to the roof, this raises them up...

    Sunroof motor

I tried that on mine, but the worm drive didn't disengage, so I gave up, maybe You have to push the allen key in really far to disengage the mechanism, the allen key worked when I removed the actual motor, leaving just the gearbox in place, also was then able to set the marks to the correct...

Electric seat button not attached anymore

on mine the small clips that held the switch block to face plate broke on one end, so the switch block wouldnt stay attached...I used thin doublesided foam sticky tape, no glue getting into the switches...worked a treat for the last two years.

    ****part Chassie

:scratching_chin:On a completely different Tack, get it rebuilt in Poland or one of the EX eastern-block countries, There are people from the UK having there classics's rebuilt over there because they are cheaper than here. Do a web search, but strikes me the transport and labour costs would be...

    ****part Chassie

OOOOps forgot to say, on the return trip you could load up at TESCO's with £4 wine,£1.22 per litre beer, £20 spirts and £1 loafs of bread, in fact your whole weeks shopping, at those prices you could almost subsidise the whole resto, even the wife might enjoy the short break. and the cheaper...

    ****part Chassie

After reading this thread...this would get my vote, this way you get your Richards chassis and any other bits at a reasonable price, If you just get the chassis and bulkhead done, with any specialist work you feel you cant do then most of the work is just labour to do the swap, you can finish...

    electric sunroof convertion

Are you for real:p The red was to emphasize the Fallacy of your assumptions..and draw attention to the fact that you are wrong....cant be any more succinct. After 14 years of disco ownership it would still appear you understand very little about this subject. I am happy to defend my answer...

fob for lifting and lowering suspension

:mad:bad news on the 2nd hand fobs, they cant be coded like the door/alarm fobs, nanocam that can do a used alarm fob and code it using the internal code, but cant do it with the lift/lower fob. so the only way to get one to work is to buy new from the stealers and have it codded using the...

    electric sunroof convertion

False :bounce: Just think about it, its not rocket science, Please read my previous post, its just common sense, If the glass is to be mounted at the roof line then the seals will be below and hence allow water to enter. Without those tube you would never dare to open the roof, and with the...

    electric sunroof convertion

As there is a 6mm gap around the whole of the glass in the roof and the inner seal sits below the roof level, without the drain tubes the gutter tray that fit on the underside would fill up with water, with no drain tubes there wouldn't be any place for it to go. Now as the inner seal is below...

    radio code entry?

cool, take it back to where ever you bought it from, I wouldn't care how cheap I got it, I would still want a working one, :crutch: Bet you didn't take the advice, go to Halfrauds and buy a "new" cheap one, cause I am betting it will most likely work when you get it out of the box. Then I can...
