Well after all the expense and hassle of having my IRD replaced on my Freebie.............someone's nicked me boat!!!! That was the main reason for getting the car, so don't technically need it now! Hmmmmmm

How's tricks? Anyone had any experience of AWA (After Warranty Assist) from LR ? Need a new IRD on Freelander 2.0iD W reg 30k miles and thought it was way too early for this to go. Wondered if people had been successful with these AWA's??

Been on to Land Rover Customer Services.....they are going to raise an AWA (After Warranty Assist) to see whether they will pay a percentage, due to low mileage and FSH. Anyone had any dealings with these AWA's??

Just had the same shocking news myself here in Chester....same symptoms, diagnose IRD...reckon £1200 to sort out. Had it for 6 weeks ....only got 36k on it and not even 5 yrs old!
