Right. I've tried the injector cleaner - which has had no effect. I couldn't get hold of Forte so use the comma stuff instead - is this the same thing or is forte significantly better? I have now also loosened each injector nut in turn - which causes the engine to struggle, but no real change...

Thanks very much guys! I have found the stuff on amazon, but imagine my local motor factors might also have some from the look of it. I have a pretty full tank - will running through this tank before adding forte make the problem worse? I could probably find a way to pump it out if I had to...

My 110 200Tdi is chucking out loads of exhaust smoke. It is grey and hangs in the air - so I don't think it's the head gasket - the water vapour would disappear pretty quick if it was that. The haynes says to check the injectors by pulling off the union for each injector in turn - apparently...

Could it be your handbrake binding? When mine did this it felt like the whole vehicle was shuddering. Cleaned up the expander and it was fine... Vulch

Having problems with my indicators blowing fuses and think that the hazards might be involved too. I put the hazards on for a minute or so the other day, and then there was a buzzing and then a click from the fusebox - one of the relays, I think. Fearing the worst, I tried the indicators...

I bought some aftermarket shoes for my 110 - the shoes are bigger on the 110 than the 90 - however, the guy in the shop told me to grind off a bevel all around the wear pad to stop it binding. FWIW it worked for me! Cheers, Vulch

It was very very easy in the end. The studs are just pushed through the back of the hub. I got mine out by gently encouraging them with a lump hammer. And it was only gently. Hit the end of the stud and eventually it just eases out. As it was a rear hub assembly and it had drum brakes, I just...
