    Have found the blockage - it is the condenser unit. Have tried to blow and flush with solvent through both entry and exit holes, but will not budge. Not even a wiff of air getting through. Have left some solvent in the hope that it loosen the blockage up, and will try blowing again later.

    Mechanic seem to think its fine, but will remove and clean, also checking all pipes are free of blockages and blowing out the condenser and cleaning it.

    Just fitted new aircon compressor on 1997 P38. Also new is dual and single pressure switches. When engine is switched on refrigerant spurts out of pressure release valve located on tube linking condenser and compressor. Any idea what the problem might be ! I am a long way from any Kwick Fit...
