Hi all, Its been a while since I posted as I had parked-up my P38A 4.0 V8 HSE for several months - only driving it circa once per month to keep it rolling. Just turned 96000 miles and still looks a million dollars in Java Black. I can hear that the brake servo pump running for around 30-60...

New front tyres....new drag link ( old one was shot)... new steering damper ...and afternoon treat to come .... complete polish with electric buff.....

P38 V8HSE Washed..dried..polished with Autoglym products -the Java Black paint is now gleaming..all rubber trims and bumpers treated too. I also re-juvenated the front grille - a 're-dye' in dark grey..with a plastic dye sourced via Homepage. I applied the dye with a sponge.. 3 coats - the...

I tested voltage output from WABCO D ECU to front sensor joints today ( inside inner- guards) .... both read: 5.02v .... Tried continuity test... Would I be right in saying if sensors are good...reading should be '000' - ie: reading at sensor pins ?

I'm researching Nanoncom as I want one ... I read elsewhere that the original model is the best for my P38 THOR 4.0 HSE ( not the Nanoom evolution model ) ... Any opinions on this and anyone got a Nanocom for sale ?

Thanks for clarifying that Wammers... similar then to VW Golf/Audi brake light switch replacement but what do you mean 'if you use diag you will see' ? Also if switch is not 'set' correctly...can it be returned to factory 'new' position ?... once i have removed it off-course

Hello again Wammers and thanks for the prompt reply... I never disconnected battery nor turned on the igition during fitment of switch and I never compressed the new switch piston/plunger rod... but my son may have !.. I pushed brake pedal down...inserted new switch into mount bracket and...

Apologies for 'hi-jacking' this thread... but I have a similar issue... Firstly I'm 'happy' to announce that I recently bought back my 2000 p38 4.0 HSE Thor back of lad who bought it from me in Oct 2013. My P38 has just turned 90000 miles and still a pleasure and faultless drive after enduring...

Did bit more checkingb today... fuel to injectors ok but they are not getting signal from ECU to fire... other than the ECU is there a sensor or relay which would cause this fault ?
