If that doesn’t work for you you could try this:

    Steel wheel nuts!

Are the fake wolf wheels the same thickness steel? If not they probably don’t need to be as tight and the manufacturer should have their own spec for wheel nut torque.

    GUNSON GASTESTER - ANY GOOD?

On an mot on my v8, I adjusted the carbs while he was doing the emission test to get it to pass. So I bought one of those. Sat in the cupboard for a year, I went to use it, but it was no where near possible to get a setup reading of 2.5, or whatever the setup number was. I had to take it apart...

Looking for my first Land Rover

Do you know the registration number? If you do, a good start would to search “check if a vehicle is taxed” Then go to the dvla web site where you can put the reg number in to see if it still on their system. If it is recognised then let us know what type of vehicle it is and we could point you...

    Coolant leakage from engine block.

10mm deep! Should be enough to tap a thread, bit of thread lock and put a screw in.

    Sequence of restoration?

I think the most popular method is strip it down have a few bits repaired and lose interest. At least if you do as dag019 said it makes it easier to see what is there when you sell as an abandoned project in a few years time👍

    110 ex military Paint

Mind you they don’t really need to match - it’s better camouflage

    110 ex military Paint

I have had 3 ex mil land rovers, still got 2 of them. None of the 3 match the paints I have bought. None of the 3 are the same green as each other. If you really want a match, remove something preferably that hasn’t been too sun bleached. If the inside matches the outside paint, then something...

    Rounded sump plug removal Liverpool

If you can get to it easily and have a decent angle grinder, preferably with a nice cutting disc. You could put two parallel flats on it the next size down, or at a size you have a decent spanner for. Then undo it. If you can’t trust yourself with an angle grinder near your sump, don’t do this!

    IFA pension advisor

If you are quite happy with your current pension and how much it will give you, for what you pay in, then why not set up a separate 2nd pension?

    Diesel/petrol mixed fuel

Someone might be close enough! I would put it in either diesel or petrol in small quantities!

    Classic Filler neck rubber pipe

If you have enough space you could use a stainless steel exhaust reducer that matches the sizes you want and then use fuel safe pipe for the rest. Could probably get an exhaust bend either made up or off the shelf if needed.

    Apple i Watch - a warning !!

My fitbit thought I was riding a bike when I drove my 2.5na. The i watch use to warn me for loads of loud noise issues - turned that sh1t off.

    1997 Wolf bonnet catch mechanism.

I assume you are talking about the bush that goes in the body mounted hinge half. They go with the smaller half up when the bonnet is closed. I took a file to mine. I don’t remember specifically why, but I think it was to get the bonnet hinge flat to get into the groove. I don’t remember if that...
