i have checked the props and the uj's on the vehicle and they feel pretty solid. gave them a good greasing while i was there. the vibration is still present albeit not quite as bad, i think. its hard to tell!
will try getting them off one evening this week, is it as simple as unbolt and drop...

my rrc 1988 3.5 efi auto has developed a nasty vibration under acceleration, it starts just above 2000 rpm and is at its worst around 3000.
the vibration stops as soon as i let off the gas regardless of road speed which leads me to believe its not too much to do with the drive system/shafts...

hi rick, sorry, last bit i wrote is confusing.
i know about starting and switching but sometimes when driving along even with a full tank it starts to flash.

the system fitted to the car (1988 3.5 EFi auto) is a stako tank with OMVL regulator. the orange light flashes when the red light is on aswell at startup, then after switching the orange light is solidly on but sometimes i glance whilst driving and find it to be flashing.

i think hardknotts or wrynose is billed as the steepest road in england.
i did drive a 998cc mini over both last year so i dont think you will be troubled!
get an OS explorer map (orange cover) and find some byways

the orange light on the lpg switch adjacent to the G,
sometimes it is solidly on sometimes it flashes, the engine feels the same for either but i wouldn't mind knowing what it means.
any ideas?
