Retired agricultural engineer. Had a number of Land Rovers over the years, faourites being first one bought new by my dad in 1949, and later a very early series 1 diesel. Sadly I couldn't find the time or cash to buy a S1 for restoration until retirement. Have just bought this one, having found it in a barn - where it had rested for about 20 years. Almost got it roadworthy again. Needs another 3 to 4 weeks work. Will need advice on one or two remaining jobs, and look forward to help fro
