Aaarg, I've just gone to remove the starter on my discovery td5 after the bendex stopped engaging. On removal of starter the cog was left in the engine. This was retrieved with ease but obviously all the ball bearings that hold the shaft bearing together have fallen inside. Can anyone advise...
