    Thanks for that - I have contacted them and got a good shipping price even to France (where I am). So, how hard is it to change the VCU and the IRD - or is it a specialist job.

    Yes - I can change gears OK but it is making a right noise, plus I can see it is cracked in two and I can see theinternal workings of the unit. So if it is the IRD that connects directly to the drive shaft then it must be the IRD. How can it just crack open, my wife drove it out of the drive...
