Maybe the end of the bolt securing the top end of the shock absorber to the chassis?

Series chassis changes would hold no fear for me.. but how long would it take to swap a disco td5 chassis? I would have though the work was immense.. would the thing have to be dismantled panel by panel, or could the body come off in one hit?

Fellas, I noticed yesterday that the auto box on my TD5 seems to be playing up. From memory, I recall that if left on a slight slope, with engine off, the transmission would 'lock up' in 1,2,3,D, R & P, but the car would roll down the slope if left in N. (with no handbrake applied). That is how...
