Has anyone got a good suggestion to stop the push-button type door handles and locks freezing up?? I have never had a problem with the old type handle on the rear door of my 90, and have many times had to go in the back door and climb into the front to get the de-icer to free the front doors...

Thanks Dr Evil Looking at my scribbled drawings, unfortunaltly it wont fit. I have 26" x 12" to fit right across the front between the steering relay arm and the bonnet. Think ill pop to a car breakers with a tape measure and see what I can find.

My other worry is will i keep it cool! I only have about 3 inches from the front panel to the shaft on front of water pump, so wondering how thick an origional is? Next step might be a trip to some of the local car breakers with a tape measure.
