    10 hour job on a lot of vauxhall cars, at £60 per hour. Makes a lot of vehicles beyond economic repair. It's one of the reasons I keep my Landrover.

    Have you checked the amount of free play the pushrod to master has? It is only a very small amount but if too much no brakes. No freeplay and brakes will stick on some.

    Some think grease will stay in if seals are iffy, but it is not the case. The one shot stuff when warmed up will leak like the gear oil when seals are bad. Is the oil system better? Series Landy's used it and so did the early coil spring ones...

    You are correct Gear oil 80/90 is what mine uses being a 1990 model.

    Renewing front shocks and spring pans on mine. All turret rings nuts came off with none broken [pays to oil them] One turret had a rotted out section, did not want to wait for a replacement so welded in a patch.

    Corrected I am, pretty sure 89 One ten had the larger calipers but has been a long time. My 1990 Ninety has the also has the large calipers now as well as bit larger tires than original 205's
