Lol, Hi yes I had my garage check the oil who changed the oil. They did it the way you are stating. I even took it elsewhere to double check.

The temperature does no really make any difference. Have been on long journeys and short and the car does same thing each time in reverse.

Couldn't say how many miles box has doe as was previous owner. Have checked the oil levels and they are all ok. If you put the car in reverse and slowly put your foot on the accelerator it is ok , its just purely if you accelerate hard or up -hill in reverse.
