Dear Friends,
My Disco TD5 2004 is still suffering air suspension problems at the right side. I replaced the RH air spring by an used one in good condition. Overhere in the south of Bolivia there is no one who knows sufficiently for a full repair.
Still the air spring is loosing air and after one day, one day and a half the air spring is down, first at the RH and later at both sides, completely. After starting the engine the air springs are filling in a couple of minutes and the car reaches it normal level.
The air spring itself was tested and does not leak. Perhaps the pipe at the top of the air spring is leaking a little. Can I use some glue or sealing stuff for locking the thread?
The amber ACE-light on the dashboard is permanently on.
There is no testbook here in Bolivia; I need to travel at least 900km to the nearest in Argentina; what about the Hawkey or Nanocom tester? Or perhaps the CARTREND autodiagnostic OBD II ?
Thanks a lot,
Ton Oomen
