Purchased my first defender (Kermit) as my first car, which it served me well up until the start of my university course a few years later and needed something quicker than 50mph and more refined for taking me to and from university. Which then lead to purchasing a tuned 1991 TD5 Defender fully rebuilt on galvanised chassis and bulkhead, which lead kermit to be retired and now sold.
