Hi all, Just changing my rear brake pads on my 96 disco and have noticed that one of the pistons on the caliper seems to be seized. Does anyone know if i should try forcing it back (with a big hammer) ? The first pad went in ok (the outer) but the inner is about 1mm to wide

My 300TDi's done 149,000 but time for bushes now.......

Yep. Tuesday morning. The picture doesn't show how deep the ditch was that well! The only reason the indicator got broken was cos the chain slipped off and we dropped it on its nose! Even the wing mirror (that i thought had been crushed) had just folded itself in!

I would have had it, she said she was in a hurry to get rid of it so you would have thought that re-arranging it for another day would have been ideal.

I like them cos you can drop them in a ditch like this, drag them out with a forklift, and only break an indicator!

I spoke to the woman on the phone last Friday and she said if I couldnt pick it up Saturday then not to bother!

I couldnt get down yesterday to pick it up i didnt fancy trailering it 130 miles in this weather! probably lost it now

I dont know why Land Rover didnt do it in the first place! Most other auto 4x4's have an OD button

yeah ive taken a gamble by not looking at it and theres no MOT but if all else fails i could break it
