rear caliper pipe connection threads imperial or metric

Hi all I've bought replacement rear door hinge pin kit finally got the old pins and balls out. How do I get the new locking tabs and nut on. Can't get the spring to compress enough cheer toby

Quick update from my previous post.sorry it's been so long other projects. someone had replaced the inspection cover and put one bolt it that was to long putting pressure on the pulley

all the pipes and throttle cable are connected correctly. new filter bled system still only rough tick over on full throttle

hello all I changed the knackered old engine in my defender for a half decent one from a 300 tdi discovery starts ok but even on full throttle will only just tick over.what have I missed????

I've been doing it for years on my 19j but got a bosch pump on mine bit dodgy starting this time of the year though I bung a bit of 2stroke in with mine just in case
