When I first got My Freelander I also had a lot of flat battery troubles, I fitted an HSB110 from Halfords with a 5 year warranty, still going strong 4 years later, has Freddie 17 states it seems you do need a good heavy duty battery, good luck.

Do you have a secondary earth cable fitted? I fitted one from the neg terminal to one the starter motor bolts, seems to have cut out a lot of battery codes I that I was getting.

HI Anna's Landy Thanks for your comments I used a Per-flux filter and after that the engine as running perfectly, I have serviced it again and used a new Per-flux filter and still running ok. Still get the B100A-15 fault code but running fine so if not broke don't fix it! Thanks again TK MAX

HI all. I did change the fuel filer for a Purfleet filter, it as been running now for a number of months and all seems ok. did check the throttle body and all seems ok there, clean and free. Thanks again for every bodies input. TK

Hi Whats your views on using 5W40 in place of the recommended 5W30? About ready to give my 2011 Freelander 2 a full engine service TD4 with DPF fitted.

HI Yantojarc I agree with Nodge68, I think I am having issues with my fuel filter which was not a genuine filter , when hot does not seem to respond to throttle all the time.

What make fuel filter would you recommend for a 2011 Freelander 2 2.2 diesel. Fitted a new one last, and when the engine gets hot it will sometimes hesitate?

I have a B100A-15 code on my 2011 free lander 2 ( fuel pump authorization / circuit short to power or open) I have checked the 20 amp fuse FS22, which is show as being ok, my question is can the Pump relay be changed? and if so does anyone have any details on doing this job. thanks TK
