Ok one more question on this if I may? mine is a 7 seat BUT due to it being an import even Land Rover doesn't seem to be able to tell me what was fitted when it came out of the factory. I am reminded of this literally every time I want any part for it from bloomin anywhere!! not to mention that...

Blimey, it sounds like a bit of a minefield, so if I have a non-EDC disco I'm more likely to be ok to remove the EGR so long as it didn't have a cat fitted when it left the factory?? .... is that somewhere about right?? in fact, don't answer that hahaha!! I'll have a good look at all the info...

Thanks for the info matey, I'm not sure if yours is an edc version or not but I have just spent an hour reading up on the guys that have blanked their egr on a 300 with edc and literally 100s are saying it's all fine??? Would be great if someone could let me know what results they have had with...

Cheers for the info is there no way around removal? Although honestly I can't see a difference since I removed it but if I'm loosing boost nothing will make much difference I guess. I'll just refit it if there is no work around.... Man I need another v8!!

I don't think it's the manifold as I've changed it and it did the same with both old and new.

No no fault codes and not too worried about the MOT I have all the bits so can put it back for the test. What would the TQ stall test show me, Would I get boost before it stalls?

ok so I have re earthed the cables that are attached to the pin cleaned up the contacts etc and so far no joy :confused:, anything else before I start dismantling the dash?

Thanks for the advice, that actually makes sense as I noticed the dash out after replacing the battery maybe I disturbed something? I don't have RAVE do you think it's worth getting?
