Looking for advice from those who know

Could be the starter solenoid... there are kits to repair the contacts... or just give them a clean... if it's been stood for a while? Might also be worth getting the battery checked/charged?

    Defender 90 1999 injector problem

I had a similar, low power and rough running... solved by a new fuel pump. Cut a hole in the floor to save dropping the tank... will make the job easier if it happens again. Sounds like the garage has run through all the usual TD5 failure points in the hope of fixing the problem.

    Defender td5 auto conversion

Ashcroft did my TD5 auto conversion... HD torque converter... went for the compushift rather than the cable system...really good set up, smooth gear changes, and the stage 2 tune works well with this set up. They will certainly have answers to your questions.

    Gwen lewis mud shields

I fitted the GL front kit, including new LR mud flaps, as mine had perished and fallen off... been on for a few years now... would highly recommend, especially if you have wider tyres/spacers. They don't stick out, which was a concern before fitting. Now running 235's... but had 265's before...

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Fitted some grab handles on the A Pillar... used Genuine Part door handles, and upgraded the screws to set screws... used M4 tap to cut thread into the existing mounts: The keen eyed may notice my temporary bodge... I used matchsticks wedged between the handle and the trim, which has worked...

    RAPTOR

No, just sanded to bare metal, and degreased with some thinners. The Raptor instructions seemed to suggest this would work, but using their primers would improve adhesion.

    RAPTOR

I just sprayed Raptor on my Rock Sliders... sanded down to bare metal, degreased and sprayed direct... on the aluminium chequer plate I etch primed first... seems to have bonded well enough.

Finally got around to Raptor coating my rock sliders.... came out a bit rougher than expected, as my Schutz gun wasn't cleaned out properly when I last used it!

What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

Fitted Gwyn Lewis front mud flap kit. Had to remove Dirt Defenders when I fitted rock slider/ side impact sill bars... these work much better, and look Ok too. Should protect the bulkhead/footwell and cross member from crud build up and road spray.... as well as the door handles. I'm only...
