    It could be a couple of things. It may be the blower motor resistor found under the vent cover behind the bonnet. it also could be the resister mounted on the heater core housing. either, when bad, will interfere with the operation of the fans! Also, i just worked on the heater core of my sons...

    Youre probably right Dave... However, I rode mine for a small bit with the belt loose, charge light would come on when idle was low, but the water pump worked without fault. Didnt press my luck and changed the belt out as soon as I was able!!!!
