No my compressor is not running constantly.
According to the very detailed article at the start of this thread, that could be a leak somewhere.
At least the compressor is working. That is about the only expensive part of the system, so whatever other repair you need is likely to be easy and...

The button is for off-road use. It is to get a bit of extra height if you get in to trouble.
It will drop back down if you go over, something like, 18 miles per hour. [corrected speed]
I can't remember if the pump runs all the time. I'll have to check tonight.

Do you know how many owners do not understand that?
At the Peterborough show I was told I should drive the course with the Diff Lock on. I kept quiet and just let the traction control do its job.
Much better control if you only brake the wheel that is spinning. I struggle to think of a...

Back to the first question.
A D2 with a factory fitted Centre Diff Lock (CDL) lever should have a sticker just in front of the lever showing how to use it, H, N, L and Diff lock
The earlier D2's that I have seen just had a sticker showing Hi and Low.

The circuit diagrams for the Discovery 2 in RAVE are in colour but I have found the colours are very difficult to identify and in at least one case the colour code above the wire is different to the colours used in the diagram!
I always have to check and double check the colour before touching...

Drove through a flood to rescue the take away curry. It was too deep for the delivery guy's car.
Great fun.
I'll post the video on my blog in a couple of days:

Yesterday, fitted a car cam. One of the 0801 type from a company called Combi on e-bay.
Found some promising unused wires behind the sunroof switches. With a bit of hunting in the circuit diagrams and connector library turns out they are for an electric interior mirror.
I was never going...

You will probably get more replies if you start a new thread on that topic rather than piggybacking on an unrelated existing thread.

It's just gone 8am on a Saturday and the man from Event Tyres has been, fitted my replacement tyre and gone already. Great service.
The tyre was split at the Peterborough LRO Show course last weekend.
There's some photos of the day here:

Not sure.
We looked on the next go round but nothing obvious. The site was mainly sand but there were plenty of rocks cleared to the sides. I guess one just stuck out in the wrong place.
We didn't see anyone else with any tyre damage so we were just unlucky.
I've just put some picture...

Home from the show now.
We managed to slash a tyre on the off-road course. Nasty 5cm vertical gash. Completely flat. A marshal pointed it out. The tyre was only about 3 weeks old!
The marshals were fantastic helping to fit the spare and find a working bottle jack as mine was...

I already have a compressor but I've gone for the hose reel and shears because the price is so low and I was looking for both of those anyway just for occasional use.

Are Land Rovers psychic?
Yesterday I'm reading up on Air Suspension and this morning I get to the car to find it is sat down on its stops!
Based on what I read yesterday I am confident that I just need to replace the air springs. I'll be ordering them to collect from Peterborough at the weekend.

I like the idea of LED lighting and have recently replaced my interior lights with LEDs.
I tried a low cost interior lamp and that failed almost instantly. I then bought more expensive Osram versions and they have been perfect and much brighter than the old filament types.
I would change...
