I've got one fitted and floor Mat you don't have to take the mat out if you use a bit of common sense..part of a layered security system and I think with its location and ease of use you are more likely to use it every time .had one fitted for two years well worth it .

Not the barest picture but hope you get the idea.back of the rack sits in the u channel.the old mounts are used with some steel brackets the whole thing can be removed in five mins or so if needed.

Made one for my 90 using a second hand dog Guard and some Ali u channel. Works a treat cost me 45 to make inc the dog guard

I've got them fitted to my vehicle ..my thoughts....my Land Rover has a layers approach with security ..I got these last year my vehicle is an older one personally if it was newer I would not have fitted them.
