Hello, am old enough to know better. In fact I knew about ingenium bad press, but for whatever reason had forgotten about it and on impulse very recently ended up with what I believe is a 17 model year discovery sport born in September 2016 which I think is an L550. It has 68,000 miles of age and a new engine and everything at 42,000 miles a couple of years ago from memory. Clearly I have a steep learning curve ahead, but for the time being am set on reducing service intervals to 6000 miles and or six monthly. I have tons of questions, but have decided not to pester people on here all of whom have more sense than to get a Discovery Sport with that engine. I have no current garage facilities. This is a little bit about me. Am grateful for this forum and I will try to participate and post messages about something or nothing as time goes by.
