Thanks for the reply, ill give it a go , if you see a fully laden Silver XS 90 Defender heading North from Nottingham to Durham this weekend it will probably be me with a 900Kilo weight block as a back seat passenger!!

Does anyone know how much weight I can carry in the back of A Defender 90 Hardtop?, Suspension is Standard not Heavy Duty , Thinking of a 900KG weight block I need to collect, just wondering if it would manage?

The gear change with Evo 1 in is noticably smoother than the oil which was in mine, its not cheap! but I think it is worth it, I put mineral gear oil in the Drop Box and diffs

Check out the Oils on www.DIFFLOCK.com website, Ive just seviced my defender and discovery with there 5w/30 fully synthetic engine oils 15 Litres worked out at about 50 quid, quick delivery two. Also used their EVO 1 oil in the gearbox highly recommended

Ive just changed the Front Brake Pads on L322 Range Rover Ive Still got "Check Brake Pads" warning on Display Screen do you have to get the Dealer to Reset. Also I took the Battery lead off for 30 Min thinking that might Reset it And now Ive got message " Air Susp Inactive " Bloody new...

Has any one fitted the TomTom 910 Sat Nav unit in there defender? Is the kit worth the money ?

It is a Defender 90 Hardtop. Zambezi Silver, Leather Seats, Alloys Air Con, Cold Climate Pack. It is on a 53 Plate and only got 16 K miles on it. Never been off road either so pretty pleased with my purchase. Ill try and post some pics soon, but Imm a bit busy on the Farm at the Moment...

Just purchases a Defender 90 last week so now just getting to know my new toy. I reverted to Japanese pickups etc in the Mid 80s so have not drove a Landrover since then. Pleased to say nothing has changed Brilliant Feeling !!
