I have recently had the same problem in my 04 td5. It had been starting fine but then had a cold start problem and would only start after it had been standing if I primed the fuel pump first or worked the starter to death waking the neighbours. I changed the pump but the starting problem...

For years I've admired Land Rovers of all sorts but never took the plunge into ownership. Yesterday I picked up a good looking 04 Discovery 2 TD5. First problem, brake lights stuck on. I followed advice from previous posts and fixed the problem. Thanks Landyzone.
