well maybe but i would not try it.... my friend had a try with a cheap remapping tool and blew the engine controll unit to bits. I would call a reccomed company and ask, in know had an offer at the bury st edmunds motor show on sunday they may be willing to do a deal or give je or twisted...

Just to let you know my defender after my remap is now making 164 BHP on a rolling road.

i had mine done by paul at gcl tuning in bury st edmunds (suffok) its so much smoother with bags of extra torque. my the wifes discovery TD6 has also just been done its also much smoother the autobox changes a lot better and the turbo seems to kick in from the word go. all in all very happy

ive just been browsing the other post regarding the EGR valve dose my engine (2.4 Ford lump) have this ? is it worth it along side the remapping to blank it off ?

Oh rite, i thing gcl tuning have a similar unit called ST3 it stores 3 remaps including the standard and two remapped upgrades it under product's on the web page GCL Tuning...Bespoke Economy and Performance ECU Remapping Bury st Edmunds what do you think ? is this similar ?
