shock absorbers can fail because of age and or use. being a mechanic i replace plenty of them. if u can free them from your axle see if theres plenty of resistance. hope this helps.

You could have 1 or more defective shockers without them looking damaged. The seals inside may have gone. If you can, undo the shocker from the axle and see if it slides up n down smoothly with resistance.

What engine are you fitting the boost gauge to? I used to have a 300 series disco that had a boost gauge fitted. It was piped to the blanking off plate that used to feed the EGR. Hope this helps. Dan

Hello everybody, just wondering if anybody can help me? i have a 2001 Td5 Disco with a corroded fuel filter housing unit (under the o/s rear wheel arch). Its now starting to leak fuel, so i called my local britpart dealer and he quoted around £200+vat!! Im still in shock. Does anybody know where...
