I've had a garage replace my propshaft bearings. I supplied these bearings (https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-TOQ000040P1). The viscous coupling has a collar / flange on each shaft against which the bearings and their washers/dust shield are meant to be seated.

Cheers. I suppose wheels are designed not to wobble, and one that did wobble 6 or 7mm would pose more urgent problems than just a rubbing tyre!
