Hi there. Ive removed a cheap master brake cyl in prep for fitting a newun. Thought id have a look at it as it was leakin brake fluid down the pedal, turns out it was full of swarf as if someone had used a file to assemble it. The lesson for me is Dont use cheap parts:(

sounds like e gray and i have similar probs. i drove ours home from whitstable in kent to ashford with no brakes apart from the transmission brake. Got a britpart master cyl on the braking but cant get the system bled. i think i would be correct in saying that the cyl has had it. Also got water...

Hi there. Just a quick hello there, my wife and i have just aquired a series 3 which in all honesty is a bit of a wreck. I think we will welcome any help an advice which may come our way as i think she will need rebuilding from the chassis up in time to come.:confused: Regards. stevie greenfinger
