    Hi, not sure why the timing slipped. The belt had slight damage on the edge but no teeth missing. Tensioner was at the correct position. I have the correct timing tools, I took out the starter and locked the crank with the crank tool and I positioned the cams at 5 and 7 o'clock with the pins.

    Hi Mark, thanks a million for replying. Yes camshaft and crankshaft turn. I am aware that these engines are known for the crankshaft failing/braking. Is it possible there is damage even though all are turning?
