    just routed loom in exactly mirror fashion to that described, so followed other cabling up the drivers side wing, then cut the nipple of the rubber grommet as shown in the manual, just that this one is not hidden under the engine bay fuse box and you can physically see the underside of it above...

    it is a small vertical socket, nearest the centre at the bottom back. the central lug of the plug on the loom points way from the centre of the fuse panel.     It says that they are UK made, but Google and every combination of Freelander Hard Top Storage etc has come to nought. Only the US site referred to above? Mine is stood up in the garage in the box that the Soft Top came in.
