just routed loom in exactly mirror fashion to that described, so followed other cabling up the drivers side wing, then cut the nipple of the rubber grommet as shown in the manual, just that this one is not hidden under the engine bay fuse box and you can physically see the underside of it above...

it is a small vertical socket, nearest the centre at the bottom back. the central lug of the plug on the loom points way from the centre of the fuse panel. I tried to get under to have a look but just went for feel after an age! it went straight in so to speak! one side of the back of the fuse...

PopUpBlocker and Cookies appear to be the issue, I had Windows, IE, Norton etc all conspiring to block access. Eventually got on (and what a useful site) but if you asked me what I changed, I couldn't say for sure.....

It says that they are UK made, but Google and every combination of Freelander Hard Top Storage etc has come to nought. Only the US site referred to above? Mine is stood up in the garage in the box that the Soft Top came in.

Our 1999 3dr HB used to creak a lot, mainly from the roof - I was forever unclipping and reclipping the 4 fasteners to see if the roof would 're-seat' better on its rubbers following a little lift - it didn't. Our 2001 5dr was (as you would expect) far better as there is generally more fabric...
