Yep useful thank you. It was a loose earth wire. I’ve attached it to the auxiliary control panel screw and working just fine now! -

Two other thoughts. Did you change the release bearing when changing the clutch? And what condition are your engine and gearbox mountings in? -
Re anneal the copper washers, easy and quick.

Disco washer NO. Same washer used in 2ltr 2.25 and 2.5 engines up to 1990.

Well the 10th digit of my vin is also an A but I don't have the CWK number plate.... maybe it was changed... Think I'll buy a heritage certificate and see what that shows up.

I specifically chose the soft top to have the option of handheld camera operation from the back as alternative to the soft/hard mounted options with robotic arm and remote head.

This one's primarly for slow offroad automotive commercials and indie films and horseback riding scenes. But runs well on the road too.
