She has a 2002 freelander with the original dul and boring headlights and she wants the fancy ones like the freelander 2 has anyone els upgraded freelander headlights already ??? Want to try and avoid the kid for the time being ...

The funny thing is the 1.2 saxo i filled with smoke must have had a 5" exsaust .

All difrent sizes types of steal amoount of bends etc make a diffrence in the sound and if it was on a f1 car it would make a diffrence to performance but the 200 tdi is more of a tractor engine so any power diffrence wont be noticable ...

On my 200tdi i made a side exit infront of the back wheel all out of the original pipe took a bit of thinking and experimenting but it is possible just regret not being a bit more patiant and going for stainless about an inch bigger in the bore but was funy when i filled a chavy in his saxo full...

In 1st on tick over u can hardly see it moving and it will not stop but in top and a few revs it is a very good running speed so just use the gears acordingly ...

Thnx will keep that in mind and hope not to be using it to much whinch rope is to big and heavy to be runing about with all day.

But it drives off that spare plate off the back of the transfer box im positve i can get the drive to it but not sure if the whinch would be changing up and down the box as u are pulling and what the speeds would be like as at the moment u have 5 gears to pull in and 1 to whinch in works great...

I have a 12ton mechanicle whinch on the back of my land rove driven off the back of the transfer box on a manual v8 but changing to a 200tdi and was thinking of an auto box for stenth but not sure how the whinch will behave has anyone had any experiance of this combonation ????
