I have a 51 reg 58k on the clock, It feels like the clutch is on its way out. It bites off the floor but feesl wrong.
I`m sure i have a few weeks left at least. There`s no juddering or slipping and no smell.
I want to know if anyone has this feeling if so how much are the clutches on these and...

56k 1 owner full history, bought it for £1200 done the Head gasket as a matter of coarse, just renewed the leaking final drive seals today.
Well chuffed even though its a petrol 1.8. Just need to get a tow bar now.

What did i do to my freelander today? I made a lrt-51-014 tool to remove my drives shafts from the final drive. If it works as well as I expect i`ll post a pic

So my first post here, after acquiring a freelander 1.8 petrol estate 2001.
Now before i start on the leaks a little about the car, I bought it 6 weeks ago with 56k on the clock. I deceided straight away to change the head gasket as I know these are rubbish. SO, all done and new valves...
