I am more certain than ever that the Land Rover approved diagnostic tool is needed to activate these sensors , thanks for the info It’s been a great help .

If the fault hadn’t started as soon as I swapped the wheels I would agree , I’m stumped .
Also on the Diagnostic it has ( number of missing wheel units 4 ) , so it can’t see the sensors .
It’s a trip to the local Stealers by the looks of it

sorry I should clarify the read fine on the handheld TPMS Autel 408 , they don’t register at all on the car . And 433 is the right frequency as the sensors that come out since new were 433 as per the photo of an exact one taken from the car myself .

brand spanking new , the guy is still selling them on eBay now as I just checked .
They read fine on the TPMS reader

When I purchased these off eBay I was told they are in sleep mode and just require activation with a tpms trigger , seems I have been mislead to the tune of another £60 , would have been cheaper to have had the car swapped not the alloys at this rate lol .

Here is the code C1D21 but in the DTC lookup there is nothing for it on the icarsoft LR V2 ?
Anybody else know the issue ?

I am surmising it will be a dealer level diagnostic tool , perhaps someone else will clarify this ?

I will print this off and read it in depth tonight , just scanning through it , it seems to put me on the right path To getting to the bottom of the problem .
I think it’s going to require diagnostic equipment that’s more capable than the Icarsoft LR V2 I just purchased ...

that is the more likely solution, though the model number of the ones I have fitted are classed as compatible on most TPMS sales websites
