Hi td4van, checked the heater issue your right , one to cross off the list, booked into a independent next week he says this issue should show up on t4 diagnostic plenty off checks to do before he condemns the ecu, hope to keep site posted.

hi nodge68, iv had the vehicle for 2yrs I always park on my drive same location ,the alarm symptoms is happening on my drive, at work and round town were I park up. the heater fan is set to1 when engine revs increase from 750 to 900,thanks.

hi all, having trouble with battery draining over 2-3 days, took the vehicle to the local auto elecs he did the usual checks fuses relays and still showing drain, he thinks the ecu is not shutting down causing the drain. also its a coincidence that intermittently when cancelling the alarm...

Hi dog-man found it by chance, engine ticking over I moved the harness and it caused erratic running at tick over , having taken harness of the vehicle I did a test on each wire and one was breaking down on movement , got anew harness from indie for £35ish

I had same problem between 1500 _2000 rpm turned out to be fuel rail pressure sensor wiring harness , took me 20 minutes to fit , all ok after

Hi folks just asking if anyone can give me a contact for a gear selection rod the smallest of the two that connects to the gear box, new if poss, mine as dropped off at the ball and socket nearest the gear box currently held on with a cable tie to get me home

Hi, just checked mine still in the box after refurbishment by bell engineering gkn v 405520 02 384 stamped on the outer round edge , no other stamp markings found, 55reg td4.

Fixed running issues with engine thanks to lynx diesels. Highly recommended

hi hd3 thanks for reply as i said booked in at main stealers, mechanic there told meabout a mech/tech that had left there to set up himself so i give him a visit, he hooked up to t4 diagnostic that showed 1 injector out of spec at idle and 1 injector out of spec at 1200 revs different...
