Yorkshire born'n'bred, but lived a few other places. Always wanted a Land-Rover since a neighbour bought a 109" seriesII station wagon, brand new, back in the early 1960s. well, My brother then bought a SIIa109 just like it in the early nineties. I acquired a series 1 around then, and we spent an inordinate amount of time swapping engines gearboxes etc. several landrovers came and went, but BVH707A came and stayed.
And was rebuilt several times.
And is now a homeopathic series IIA. 2 and a half
