    Sorry Chris I thought I had done a reply. I bought a new one with a years warranty from Electric Windows Direct who have Buy It Now on e bay Price £88.90 inc VAT & PP. Same make as original one fitted. Far better though no mixed metals and came all greased and ready to fit saved a fortune. Pete

    Thanks for reply. I eneded up taking rubber seal off around the window and undoing all the bolts for the window guides and then very slowly edging the window clamps away from the window. What idiot at Landrover mixed metals together??? Pete

    Hi All The wire has snapped and I am trying to lower the window to undo the 2 window clamps. Its not moving even to lower it to open the door and it beeps all the time. Please does anyone know what i should do?? Thanks Pete:confused::confused:
